This policy explains what information Valar Brokers, Inc., doing business as Valar Advisory ("Valar Advisory", "we", "us") collects through valaradvisory.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a buy-side advisory based in Fairfield, Iowa.
What we collect
When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number and your message. We use these to reply to you.
When you use the buyer or seller forms. The Buyer Contact and Seller Contact buttons open forms in our own deal application. They ask for your contact details and what you want to buy or sell, such as industries, locations and financial ranges. What you enter is stored in that application and is seen only by our team.
When you contact us directly. If you call or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. These records are used for security and to fix problems.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To reply to your messages and questions.
- To understand what you are looking for and match buyers with businesses for sale.
- To keep a record of our conversations and any agreements we make with you.
- To keep this website secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that work for us: website and application hosting (Railway), email delivery for the contact form (Resend), our email system (Google Workspace) and our customer relationship system (HubSpot). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Parties to a transaction, only when you have asked us to pursue one, and confidential details only under a non-disclosure agreement.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Confidential business information
Details about businesses for sale, such as teasers, financial information and offering memoranda, are shared only with parties who have agreed to keep them confidential, usually by signing a non-disclosure agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we have a relationship with you and as long as we need it for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices

This website uses an encrypted connection, and access to the information you share is limited to our team. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is for business professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
